February 17th, 2016 categories: Atlanta, Local Art & Designers, My Favorites
Do you have dreams of making it big in the film and entertainment industry? Maybe you’re the next Steven Spielberg, but you don’t want to go out West. Well… you may just be in luck, according to MovieMaker.com, Atlanta is becoming the New Hollywood. It is well known that Atlanta, Georgia, has been growing significantly as a film making destination in the last few years, and it looks like there is no end in sight anytime soon.
Cost effectiveness and growing talent has added to the popularity of this location. Movies such as Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Ant Man, The Divergent Series: Allegiant, Barbershop 3, Captain America: Civil War, X-Men: Apocalypse, My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2, The Walking Dead, Quantico and Furious 7, have all been filmed in the city recently and have added to said expansion.
With this being said, if you are looking to advance in the film industry, as well as find a home nearby, Atlanta may just be your best bet. With housing prices that are far below its counterparts in Los Angeles, Atlanta has a booming real estate market that is perfect for professionals looking to be near filming. In addition to the professional potential, Atlanta and its surrounding areas has plenty of shopping and activities to partake in.

|Home Organization Top 10 Tips
February 1st, 2016 categories: Deborah's Scrapbook, Local Art & Designers, My Favorites
It’s a new year and it’s time to start organizing! There are tons of fun, useful ideas for cleaning up and really arranging your possessions to the most efficient design. See tips below for brainstorming:
1. Use glass canisters to separate your kids’ art utensils.
2. Monochromatic organizational containers with pops of color give a fresh, clean look.
3. A “recharge” station is great to get rid of bunches of cords and devices all over the house.
4. Create your own rustic mudroom with crates and wood panels for hanging outerwear and organizing shoes.
5. Apply cork board to the inside of cabinets to hang measuring spoons, recipes, and other memorabilia.
6. Make your pantry look extra clean with clear containers and baskets for food instead of ugly, cluttered boxes.
7. Your coffee station could look just like this with a few shelves and hooks to hang your mugs.
8. Install some wire baskets above your counters in the kitchen to hold cooking utensils and create a rustic feel.
9. If you’re working with a small space, use pegboard to hold pots and pans. Use chalk paint on a door to plan grocery lists and meal plans.
10. Organize your makeup with small drawers and shelves. Separate cosmetics by step, as well as brushes.
Hope these ideas are as helpful to you as us! see more home tips and tricks at www.NorthAtlantaHomeTeam.com!
