Duluth, one of Gwinnetts busiest commercial corridors, has boundaries that extend to I-85 and the Fulton County line. The downtown area has seen revitalization in the past couple of years, with roadway and street scape improvements funded by a grant from the Atlanta Regional Commission.

Community activities are held at the town green, and more retailers, restaurants and other businesses are moving to the area. It was named after Duluth, Minn., when Congress decided in the 1870s to build a railway system from the Georgia town to the Minnesota town.
